Personal Computers
A personal computer is a general-purpose computer whose size and capabilities make it useful for individual work and was made to be operated by an end-user with no intervening computer operator. This is in contrast with batch processing or time sharing computer method models. The related term PC is the original acronym for personal computers, it later became the ubiquitous term from the Windows operating system.

The Portable Computer
The portable computer is a computer that was designed to be moved from one place to the other and it includes a display and keyboard. Some nicknames given to portable computers because of there size and design are Lunchbox and Luggable computers. These are not to be associated with laptops or other mobile computing devices, they are usually constructed from full-specification desktop components and do not incorporate features associated with laptops.
